Kyouju Hayakawa: “The Talking Violinist” or “sound effect violinist” has appeared on television programs such as “Untitled Concert” and “Tamori Club” (TV Asahi). 

As a musician he has performed in various Japanese popular entertainment shows (vaudeville etc), at venues including the Toyokan, Asakusa Engei Hall and the National Engei Hall. He is a member of the Tokyo Performing Arts Association. 

Other performances include in the operetta “Countess Maritza”, a musical production of “Conference of the Animals” and with the Ichikawa Citizens Musical. As a musician and entertainer he has performed at nurseries through to universities. 

Hayakawa previously worked as editor for a musical publication and is currently writing a specialist book. Other current activities include teaching, lecturing, sheet music publishing and appearing as a narrator and MC.
