Naoya Yamashita

Yamashita studied for a year abroad at the University of Vienna as part of his undergraduate at the Tokyo Metropolitan University (Faculty of Urban Environmental Sciences).  Following this, he completed his postgraduate at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Global Arts, majoring in arts production.

To date, notable productions managed include; “In Conversation with the Organ” (awarded best project proposal for the Sougakudo call for productions competition at Tokyo University of the Arts), dramatic musical work “THE鍵KEY” by composer Francesca Le Lohé (2018-2019), and “The Silence of the House” with composer Ono Ryuichi and shakuhachi player Kohei Matsumoto (2019). Yamashita is a member of “Senju Dajare Improvisers Orchestra”.
